89 Accord Auto Transmission went out

I have a 1989 Honda Accord SE-I 2.0 FI Automatic transmission. My transmission has always shifted hard and i could never read that dinky little dip stick to get the fluid perfect, from what i could tell it was over full, so i drained out some of the fluid till the dipstick read low and filled it up to perfect level. After that it shifted real smooth. It was fine for a long time till a couple days ago, i was on my way to a friends house and it slipped a little on a hill, but then way fine after that, i checked the fluid and it looked fine..... I was on my way to school this morning and i noticed it was revving higher in rpms than it should, i found a place to turn around and go back home, pulled in (barely), parked, put it in reverse ( it would barely reverse). Then, since i was not even a mile from my house, i was gunna try to get home. I put it in D4, wouldnt move, D3, wouldnt move, 2, wouldnt move. I was kinda mad by then so i revved it up to 6,250 and it would barely move, so i left it there....Anyone had a similar situation? comments? questions? I would appreciate any help! Thanks. -Trevor
