Your clutch probably has hydraulic problems. Check the fluid level in the reservoir under the hood next the the brake master cylinder. It uses brake fluid but if it is empty, there is likely other problems. It will show leaks where it mounts to the fire wall, in a line to the transmission housing or in the slave cylinder inside the clutch housing.
If it is the slave cylinder, you will need to pull the transmission and do what needs to be done........

I didn't see any fluid in there, as shallow as it was. I also didn't see any kind of leak, either though, although I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. I'm not entirely sure where the things you mentioned are. Is this something that can be held over by adding more transmission fluid until I can get the time and money needed to fix this appropriately, or will it hurt the problem more to run it? I mean, if it's a leak, I can add the fluid as necessary, but I just don't know.
