Im trying to put together a 2001 4g64 engine with pauter rods. After installing a rod in # 1 cylinder the rod bolts are hitting the in side of the block in one direction and turning the crank the other way, the beam on the rod is hitting the lower bore of the cylinder not letting it turn. Looks like you have to grind the block to make them work??? any body out there done this??? three diamonds. 11/25/05,
