The o2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe, near the cat. It would be a good idea to change it. You might wanna borrow a fuel pressure guage and test the fuel pressure regulator and see if the injectors bleed off when the motor is shut down (dribbling fuel even when not spraying).

any other symptoms, sooty smoke, long crank times, fuel odor?
