well i finally got it figured out. If you have been listening to the recalls lately about the Ford Trucks and SUV's, the switch that needs to be replaced for the cruse control, is the same thing that shorted out part of my electrical system. And almost cought my car on fire (ya discoved that when i saw smoke come out of my hood). Turns out that its the EXACT same part number as those on the trucks. one more qusetion, if Ford knows that this part is bad on there Trucks why are the not also recalling it on there cars?
