Hey Keith, I'm not sure. But an easy way to find out is to disconnect it. If it's hooked up to the computer and not sending info, you will either get a rough running engine during warmup (not adjusting for cold engine) or a lower MPG while driving(as not leaning once warmed). A quick 20-30 mile highway trip should tell the tale. If your Jeep behaves as it did prior to the failure, then replace the sensor with whatever you'd like to.
