Nice. I sorta skipped around. It is true about thin soled shoes. I hardly heel/toe much these days cuz I find it unnecessary to downshift unless my brakes are acting weird, it's raining (good habit to match speed with gears) or I'm driving spirited through the twisties (haven't done that in ages)...
