Yeah you're right and I took that into consideration. When I said "splicing" I should have explained the hose tubing was rather used as cinnecting one broken line to the other end. I tried to make sure each broken end was touching the other within the hose line, really limiting the amount of "free hose" as much as possible. So far so good, if not.... what's another day of cussing and bleeding kunckles, it's free entertainment for the family
