
It's been known for years and years and years that Ferrari hardly turns a profit. They've struggled greatly just to be able to finance new endevors and keep things current. They make most of their money through F1 from what I understand.
Sounds to me like you're trying to say, "a company making a profit is a bad thing". I wish Ferrari did make that much in profit every year. If they did the technology would be to the nth degree of what we see now. They don't make that much money off of a car. The only reason Enzo started producing cars in the first place was to finance his racing.
