well, if there are no CELs, and you are still recieving readiness fails, then, you need to drive the car more before testing for emissions. the emmissions are looking for the "readiness" moniters to set. do not reset the ecu at any time. they are waiting to be set, not cleared. if there are no specific codes goingoff keeping the readiness monitors from running, just keep driving and then take it back to emissions. most techs will tell you to drive it between 25 - 75 miles, but, just drive it for a few hundred miles under different load conditions to see if any CELs are thrown. if not, retake it back to emmissions. if you recieve thesame problem, swap out the ecu.

also, if the backup fuse for the ecu is blown, you will have the ecu resetting on you every singletime the car is turnedoff. it will lead to readiness not ready.
