Yeah, that article pretty much sums it up. But in case you didn't already know, since Vitamin C is water soluble (so are a few others but I can't remember them right now) it won't build up to toxic levels in your body because any un-used amounts just flush out - ie - "expensive urine". Now, if you were taking too much of a fat soluble vitamin like E or D, that's when you'd want to be careful because they will store themselves in your fat cells (if not other parts - it's been over 10 years since I attempted to pursure a career as a dietician, and now i'm total mush brain working in an office) when you've ingested more that you actually need, which can have toxic effects. But again, I can't remember the possible side-effects, all I can say is be very careful with your fat soluble vitamin intake!

Oh, and another thing about vitamin c - if you are a smoker, you could definitely use more because smoking somehow depletes your vit c absorbsion. This is especially important if you are trying to have kids, because semen low in vitamin c can cause damage to sperm!
