Re: starter help
Staters on all 3.8 engines are relatively easy. Some, the rearward (inside) bolt can be a pita to line up. Some people say they had to remove their manifold pipe, I've never had to. Only other suggestion/tip: there is a main wiring harness right under the starter on the topside of the crossmember, don't drop the starter on it unless you want to add to the electrical gremlins these cars already have.
