Did you allow you engine to warm up at all?
I completely agree. Please people let your damn engines warm up some when it is cold. Summertime yea maybe starting right off is fine, but in the damn frigid winter please allow your engines to warm up and NEVER rev them to warm them up. Give yourself those few extra minutes to allow the oil to circulate and warm. I was also thinking of switching as I go to Canada and Northern Maine every weekend to ski and snowmobile and I am constantly towing. I have never once just taken my ice cold engine and driven just after it has been started. I never will. I would rather wait those 5 minutes for it to move a tick or two and save my engine and prolong the life of my truck as I am broke as a joke!
