This might not be the fix for you since it happens when you start moving. Look at the speed senser and make sure its intalled correctly and check the gears on it to make sure they are still good.

the '96 gauge clusters are the same as the '95 ones right? im pretty sure they are, so i can just switch with my buddy who has probably a good 2 or 3 laying around and see if that works.
ive been searching and i found that the auto ecu will "work". i dont know if it will work right but it will run... anyone know?
