Just wondering if you have done this yourself, or know someone that has? I was scoping it out this afternoon, and that is one huge resonator under there! :0 I wanted to know how it sounds once that monster is removed. It is a pretty good sized pipe... 2 1/2" maybe? It looks like it would be a real easy DIY job.
The reason I thought of this again is a fantastic sounding Dodge Viper roared along side me on the way home from work yesterday. Man, did that sound nice! Not that my 3.8L would ever sound like that huge V-10, but I'd like it to have a nice raspy snarl when I get on it.
I'm not sure if this would affect my emissions either. I have to have it inspected when I get my registration and plates, so I'll probably wait till after that at least.
