This happened last night.....Ok so i'm at a stop light and it turns green, i'm cruising at about 20 in first gear when i see this cop pull up to the side of me, i'm not really to worried since I kno i haven't done anything wrong.At about 25 i shift into second and start to pull away from the cop (speed limit on this street is 50, so i'm not worried). At about 35 i shift to 3rd, and just cruise at this speed.Out of nowhere, this cop blast his sirens an turns on his speaker "you in the black car, pull over!"
So I pull over and i'm trying to figure out what the hell I was pulled over for, well the cops come up to me and i say "what seems to be the problem officer?" He tells me "I heard you're car making a loud whistling noise when u shifted, and i know cars don't do that." right now i'm pretty pissed cuz this cop is a total idiot and is wasting my time, i yell at him saying that it's my Blow-Off valve, he tells me to pop the hood.I get out of the car and he's lecturing me on how he's been on the force for 20-some odd years and he's never heard of a BV making that kinda noise.I'm just stupified by this man saying that.He tells me to walk over to where he is and tell him what kind of modifications i've done to my car. I tell him well I swapped my KA for an Sr20det and i've added a K&N fuel injection kit, Blitz Super Sequential BV, 3-inch down pipe, front mount intercooler, and a HKS Hiper Cat-back system.I know this cop is a total idiot, not for the reason he pulled me over, but for the reason that when i was telling him my mods he tried looking for them.
He asks me, "Where is this BV that you said makes the noise?" i point right at it and he tells me that is not a BV, needless to say i'm really pissed of right now cuz i'm supposed to be at my girls house having dinner with her family.I just finaly say to him, ok give me a ticket for wutever reason, i'll fight you in court, win, and make you look like an asshole for not knowing what you are doing.He looks at me and tells me this is just a warning, next time i'll be in trouble.
So i jump back in my car an take off, i think he tried following me again but i took a few back roads that are like a drifters dream(3 short S-curves followed by 2 180 degree turns)
I guess he just tried to see where i was going cuz he didn't put his siren on again but after the 1st 180 turn, i took off and lost him.
That just goes to show you how much certain cops don't know about cars today.Man I am so pissed!
