you can replace them by knocking them out but you may need to cut it a little shorter so it will pass the hub. as for replacing it, you can purchase a shorter stud (only like 2mm shorter) that will pass the hub and then use the lug mut and some washers to pull it tight and flush before reinstalling the tire. I got my replacement studs (2) from napa
