the remote central locking fob will not work outside the car, but as soon as I open the drivers door it will work. took the car to Renault who said it may be a fault between the transmitter and responder, but will have to have it in and cost lots.
does anyone know how I can sort this myself. the car is still driveable as the Immobiliser is seperate kit in the car fob. it is just inconvenient especially trying to put a baby in and out of the car.

I have exactly the same problem and it is a pain in the butt, did you get any tips on how to sort it out, short of looking for a lottery win to take it to a dealer
