I hate to state the obvious, but if you just plan on putting it in the tranny and rear diff., you won't see a hp gain, so I hope that is not your intent. If you plan on using their motor oil, chances are you will get a few ponies out of it because of the quality of the oil, but then you chance leaks because it is synthetic, and a very liquid-like one at that.

It will, however, run smoother. Those guys that make that royal purple shit know what their doing, and charge a lot for it.

BTW, no, I am not using it, but like you I did my research before making my decision. Wasn't worth the risk to me, my car had 55k at the time, and I would rather not deal with the possibility of leaks.
