if it is your starter the sound may come from near the fire wall the problum with ths is when you did your burnout you may have shifted your engine and transmishion slitly causing the starter to bind slitly on the flywheel if this is the case i would check the bellhousing bolts to make shure thay are touqad to specks if thay arnt thin you may have a real problum i have had this happen before on a different car was your transmithion replaced resently. if it were a dodge or chevy i would sugest a missing shim unfoutunatly ford at least the ones i owned dident use shimes if you decide to check the bell housing i would check the bolt holes for egg shaping but if its only shifted once that may not be a problum relining the engine and trans and re toqing the bolts should fix the problum.
