Obviously the slack is not being taken up or held on top, so the window slides back down. I cannot figure where the wire came off or undone, and how to slip it back in the correct spot. If anyone has a diagragm or picture to email, it would be appreciated. This seems simple enough to fix, but I don't know the exact track for the wire to follow.

I have a 2000 LeSabre that I had the same trouble with the right rear window. The dealers cost was high, even for the part around &350.00., so I located a site that I was able to send my whole unit back (including motor ), and they replaced the cable and was shipped back all for $ 85.00, with a turn around time in about a week..Although you had to pay the shipping to them, but it was the cheapest solution I had found.Go to
