Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator, which I ended up replacing on my 00 Intrigue after posting to this forum with a problem similar to what you're reporting. Do a search on 'fuel pressure regulator' in this forum for details. Net is you need to remove plastic cover from top of engine and check the vacuum line attached to the FPR; if there is fuel in the vac line, the regulator should be replaced. The regulator is attached to the fuel rail (right side toward back of engine). After replacing this ~$60 part, the car starts fine.
