As far as the engine currently in your car it's most likely a d16y8. As for the swap into your car if you can afford it go with a K series (around 5500) for simplicity reasons I'd try to find a b16a2 (out of the 99-00 SIs). You just need to search, or at least tell us things like budget, power goals and whether or not you want to stay turbo or go with an NA motor.
