I am a newbie to Ford vehicles (was an OLDS diehard), but am thrilled with my 2003 MGM LS Ultimate Edition!

I believe my 93 Olds LSS used to "learn" my driving style. If, for some reason, the power was removed from the car e.g. a dead battery, the transmission would lose its settings & learn them anew from the way I drive - either that or I imagined it, but it certainly seemed as though it altered it's change points after a while to suit my light footed style.

So, my question is, does this work the same way on a MGM? If so, is there a way of resetting the transmission so that it can relearn how I drive without disconnecting the battery, or will disconnecting the battery not work on a MGM?
