I am assuming this is a V6 since it is a GT. Changing plugs and wires will help with fuel mileage but if the car is running alright then I wouldn't worry about it for 20 or 30K more miles. If you develop a misfire or fuel mileage starts to suffer then I would change them. As for the plugs, rapid fire won't hurt anything but won't change anything either but I would stay with AC platinums over the Bosch, but I have not had any luck with Bosch.
As for hidden problems you will have clearance issues on the back side. Try a universal and a lot of time otherwise you will have to rotate the motor forward to get to the plugs.
