Have you ever seen the movie "the Transporter"? In the commentary someone states that the car featured in the movie was one of a kind 12 cylinder manual 7 series. And yes I am so fanatical about bimmers that I listened to all the commentary during the scenes featuring the car. Now movies do have a budget we can only dream of, so making a V12 manual is nothing to them even if the point was just to drive it off a cliff! I assume it is possible considering the 850 can be had as a manual and it uses the same M70 motor. Swap the flex plate for a flywheel and make space for the new pedal, which I also assume would not be all that difficult considering there are manual E32's and all the necessary mounts should be in place. However there is the driveshaft issue. Not something you or I can just weld in the shop now is it. I posted a similar question but no one seems to know the answer. So what are we to do? What do you know about tuning the M70? 332 lb.-ft of torque with an 8.8 compression ratio sounds like there is alot of potential in that motor. Is there anyone out there making performance parts for this beast?
