Next time an auto parts person tells you that their brand is as good as AC Delco brand, ask them how many years of automotive shop experience they have. (Most of them have never worked on a car) Also ask them for a multimeter, to check resistance on both brands per foot of wire. Compare the competition like MSD or Taylor and you will be surprised. Buicks are sensitive to poor quality wires due to the high voltage of the coils and the close proximity of the wires on the coils. Autolite is the only good alternative to AC Delco that I know of and of course if you want to upgrade from both of those brands, consider MSD or Taylor.
