ok guys and gals i have a 99 bravada love it ! until now, i went out one morning and it would start but not stay running ! came back 10 minutes later and it fired right up started 5 more times after that. then it would start but not saty running again ! so i had it towed to a shop they said it was the fuel pump. i agreed we'll they call me back and said that it still will not stay running. Now i do have a viper secuirty system with remote start on the vehicle and yes it has a 555l with it ( learns the pass lock code ) so i thought maybe that was interfearing with the vehicle i removed the alarm and it fired right up again for five more times now it is doing it again ! i tried leaving the key in the ignition for 10 minutes until the security light stays solid but still the same thing ! i even tried bypassing the passlock by running a seperate 12volt wire to the fuel pump on a toggle switch and that still didnt work i guess passlock is more integrated with the system than just the fuel pump ! my question now is --- is it the key switch ? or does the passlock need to be replaced ??? i will be forced to take it to the dealer from what i hear to get it re-programed or replaced, if anyone has answers please e-mail
