I've slowly been getting some work done on this sled, and I don't want to jinx anything, but the end is almost within sight!
You can se that I did some more detail work on the interior. Below, you can see the flocking I put on the carpet. Plush!
In the pic below, the light isn't great but the BMF is done. I had a hard time with the vent window frames on both sides, but it's good enough for me. I replaced the piece at the top of the windshield because it had too many wrinkes in it.
Since this pic, I drybrushed the rear fender emblems with silver, and shot some more clear pearl over the whole thing.
Now I'm working on setting the ride height. I have to make new wire axles because the kit ones aren't long enough for the Kranze LXZ's, and I have to drill new mounting holes in the chassis to get it to sit lower.
I'll be putting the engine in, but it's gonna be basic black. The hood won't be glued shut, but I won't be opening it ever anyways.
