tranny and oil leak
I have a 91 CV. I purchased used with 106K km and it now has 158K km and the tranny just went. Is it worth repairing ($1,200 - $1,500 CND), or is there something else that needs to be looked at that might have caused the tranny to go prematurely. 158K km seems young for it need rebuilding.
Other issues - the car started to leak 1-2 litres of oil per month about 5 months ago and the engine revs quiet high when idle or in neutral. (if you are driving and take your foot off the accelerator, it will happily go up to 80 kph before leveling off) What is the best way to fix these issues, can they harm the (new) tranny, or is it time to retire our Vicky.
