Yeah Flip, don't let it happen again, or I'll have to put the smack down on your @$$. You know better than to mix up a Ford with a gm product! Yeah, even if you had a Vortech or Paxton that was made for the 5.0 it's takes some work to install, same with turbos. Sure, you could get the T-bird supercharger from your friend for cheap, you would probably have to do alot of work to make it fit and/or have special parts made. I don't blame you for thinking that way though, were all trying to get some hp for cheap. Look into it and see if it could work, hell, if it will work and you can make atleast another 50hp I think it would be worth it. A friend of mine took 2 Buick Grand National turbochargers and put them on his 5.0 (along with the basic bolt-ons) and he is has around 400hp. He spent alot of time on it though. He almost gave up. Any time you take something that was made for a v6 and try to make it work on a v8 you know you'll have alot of $$ and time in it. In the long run I think I would just go with nitrous also. Like you said, cheaper, easier. You can also get more power with it. Good luck man!!
