I think you mean the oil squirters for the pistons. One of the theories I read was that the 2g oil squirters were more likely to become hung open, and in doing so decrease oil pressure and flow. That would put less oil on the thrust bearing and cause it to fail faster. Tada, Crankwalk. That is just one of the theories though. You should google the subject you could read for days on it.
