Re: gas gauge problem
a few things come to mind. First, if his fuel gauge is faulty, it could be the result of a faulty connection on the instrument cluster or fuel sending unit or even the Body Control Module is acting up. If the overhead just came on by itself, the BCM controls that, so as a way of narrowing down what the problem could be, I'd suggest getting the BCM checked out.
