I believe you said you coulnt go to the DET Harness so I think your best bet would to be to get a Power FC designed for the DE motor... Since you have to use a Distributer then you'll have to use a N/A ECU (it sounds like the Power FC you got is from a DET?)
I would think that the Power FC from a N/A S15 would be best since thats the harness you have.
Either that or you could go to a standalone and rig up your own ignition system
