Thats pefectly normal. If its the PCV valve though I would replace it. You'll always get some air going by the rings. Don't forget there are gaps at the ends, there is no oil on them, and they dont seal well when not moving, add to that the restrictive nature of the leak tester (shraeder valve)... To limit you to 8 psi though, there are other leaks. Its not uncommon for hte leak to make no noise at suck low flow levels, so I like to use a spray bottle with soapy water to check all of the couplers, hoses, pipes, injector seals, etc.
