That hose is your pvc. Is the air leaking from the valve cover or the intake. i think if you are correctly testing its coming from your valve cover. anyway if its coming from your valve cover the only reason air would be coming out of that hose is from blowby and if your blowby is that bad that you can only hold 8psi it might be time to invest in a new set of rings
