my friends car, after replacing front pads and rotors the brake pedal goes farther down than it did and almost have to stand on it going down hill to get it to stop i have done this on diffrent cars 100 times never a problem, no fluid leaks and did not open a single brake line and my friend is not real happy with me any thoughts suggestions will be greatly appriciated
Did you burnish the pads to the rotors?
Was there any rust preventor on the rotors...did you clean the rotors before installation?
What did the surface finish of the rotors look like?
Did you torque the lug nuts or just tighten them down?

Sounds like diminished braking ability...maybe poor quality componants
