I've thought of a couple of things that could be wrong with it, from shifting oils to placing in new plugs. My last resort is to buy a new transmission but that is my last resort. when is the last time you have replaced the dexron in the transmission? 100k is the ideal time. a new tranny should be easy to find for one of those. 88 chevy novas and 90 prizms are abundant.
