I had a similar problem w/my '02 SES. Unsuccessfully tried to jump with adjoining vehicle and w/battery pack. Took the battery out and down to Wal Mart. They tested on their tester and said "it's shot". Paid out the $39.95 for a new one and no more problems. I still don't understand why I couldn't jump start it but just have to remember that it didn't work and likely won't in the future.
