Cheap parts are just that.

Cheap!

Saving money now won't seem too smart when you have to replace the same parts again in 6 months, or they fail at a critical moment.

There are numerous manufacturers of VW "restoration" parts out there. Some really care about these old cars. Some are just in it to make a buck.

Do yourself and the industry a favor and buy good quality repair parts. The advantages are:

1. You'll only buy and replace them once.
2. You'll be keeping the businesses dedicated to the Classic VW in business.
3. You'll only buy and replace them once.

And since you're talking about brakes, this is one area you don't want to scrimp on. VWs aren't the "safest" vehicles on the road, and usually end up in last place in a collision. Especially getting hit in the front. There's not much up there except sheet metal, and a rigid steering column.

If you want to save money buying other inferior parts, so be it.

But you want to go with the best brake components you can find.

Try Wolfsburg West. You won't go wrong.
