yes and yes, however you will need a tach you can set at 2 cylinders, since you will only get half the reading, and you need to splice into 1 wire thats connected to your PCM (computer), with a fair amount of research im sure you can find out which wire it is, but its way easier just to get the tach adaptor (easier, not cheaper)
