Fast idle and idle surging, 1990 250 302
Recently purchased 1990 250 van with 302. Idle seemed slightly fast but over two week period got worse. AIC looked bran new. Unplugged and it idled back down, but van ran rough.
Replaced AIC did not help, put back original as it looked new anyway.
Replaced TPS, helped, runs smoother and has slowed idle sum.
Idle is still to fast, and appears to be surging.
When in gear van does 15mph without touching acceleraor. with a slight pulsing surges.
What next ?? Any ideas?? Need VAN ASAP for work.
