Many reasons why people haven't swapped in rb26dett's.
1. Your crossing manufacturers (which bothers some people)
2. The rb26dett is mounted for a rwd car which causes complications.
3 It's not a boxer (which bothers people who bought a subaru for that reason)
4. You can't get the same power, but you can make sufficient power for street or track use with the boxer.
Mainly it's just not very practical. Might as well swap a b16 from a civic into an enzo ferrari.
