For various reasons, my 96 Taurus has been stored for nearly two years. It's been at least one year since it's been started. We didn't intend to store it, so it's had a full tank of gas all of this time.

Someone suggested to me that the gas may have developed a sediment in the tank that would cause more problems if we try to start it now. Should we drain the tank and possibly replace it, or will it have a filter in place to prevent any damage?
