Once the seals were all clean they must have reswelled cause synthetic oil is known to reswell seals much better. For sure, Mobil 1 is great for mileage too.
Also everyone, NOT ALL SYNTHETICS ARE ACTUAL 100% SYNTHETIC.
Some are hydrocranked conventional oils and not true PAO based 100% pure true synthetic.
The only true synthetics are:
Mobil 1
Amsoil
Esso XD-3 Synthetic 0w30 (Canada only: Best oil in the world)
Redline
Castrol Syntec 0w30 (Has to have "Made in Germany" on the back of the bottle)
