wrong..the 2.4 is NOT a direct swap into a 2.2 stock cav...your going to need wiring harness' ,motor mounts ,ECU
umm, i thought the 2.2L and the 2.4L was the same engine just bored + stroked a lil bit more, so really wouldnt need motor mounts.
and the disadvantages of it costing more cuz its .2L more? ,,,that doesnt even make sense..
it does so make sence, for that lil ass hp gain and .2L of displacement he gains from doing a $1300+ swap is useless for that same 1300 he could get forged internals and possibly a turbo set up lower the compresion ratio and hit it with 10 psi and be making close to 300hp
it has nothing to do with how many more litres it is that makes it more expensive..the 2.2, 2.4, 3.1, 3.8, 5.0, 5.8 are discriptions as to how much of a fuel to air mixture for combustion the engine uses
this makes you look real smart.

might wanna do a lil bit of research before you say this again "2.2, 2.4, 3.1, 3.8, 5.0, 5.8 are discriptions as to how much of a fuel to air mixture for combustion" wow. your real smart.
I believe the point he was trying to make is that he would be going through a lot of effort and cost just to increase his horse power due to the extra displacement. He wasn't saying the engine costs more just because of the extra .2L per se.
my point exactly.
id say it wouldnt really be worth the effort.. you could bore out your old motor... new internals.. then turbo it lot of money tho.
dont even bother boring it, that .2L isnt gonna get you shit unless you just wanna spend money.
do what i said you could hit 300hp easy, just becasreful of torque steer.
