Ok here's the story. Somone at work key'd my drivers side door. The company I work for offered to pay for it. So I took it to a body shop and they said $600.00 to repair. all3 panes had to be blended and clear coated. The Blazer is a 97 s10 4.3 color Black. So for the heck of it I went to Maaco to see how much to paint the entire truck because it had other scratches and small dings the hood a little crows feet. I ended up knowing the manager. I used to chumb around with him about 20 years ago. Any way he told me $918.00 to paint the whole truck. I have been reading around and most
hate macco but he assured me they would do a good job and that most folks that are not satisfied buy the $250 paint job and expect it to look great. Any opinions on this . I'll be picking up the blazer Tuesday or Wednesday and will give you all an honest opinion on how it came out.I dont expect a factory finish but I dont want to see runs and orange peal either . it's a nail biter.
