In reference to the gas pedal not being able to be pressed down:

I know that there are some coolant passages that run through the throttle body to keep it cool. If you had no coolant, chances are maybe the plate got too hot and possibly expanded or melted to the intake manifold. I would personally take off your intercooler pipe to your intake manifold and check to see that the throttle plate looks okay. Also, if the throttle plate isn't opening to allow air into the engine, your car isn't going to start, so it won't really matter how much coolant you put in there. If your gas pedal is sticking, it probably means the throttle plate is too.
