I recently heard of a way to "beat the system" so to speak allowing you to never get points on your license. It goes something like this: Say you get a speeding ticket for $75. Plead guilty, and send a check for say $78. In the mail you will get a letter saying you paid too much and a check for the overpaid $3. The key is, you never cash the check. The computer sees that it was paid so they dont come after you, however points aren't given until all transactions are completed. Therefore, no points. What I was wondering is, does this sounds reasonable has anyone tried this?
