I have seen a 2.5 liter SVT Contour V6 in a Focus; it was one of the options for the engine in the SVT Focus, while it was still in the planning stages. There is absolutely no room left in the engine compartment, and a lot had to be relocated...it could be done, but it wouldn't be all that cheap. There is always the Ford Racing 5.0V8, RWD conversion kit, if you've got about $14,000 to spare.
